His intention in assembling the works for LAXposed is to make more widely known the achievements of Los Angeles based contemporary artists who have been marginalized due to their gender, culture or erotic content. "Sexual rationalism is a modern phenomenon. It depicts sex as an unremarkable, natural objective function. Erotica is a more subjective matter, as seen in this year's annual Xart collection. The artist’s slight distortion or enlargement or serial reproduction can give a singular, perhaps even mystical quality to the image. Love is a theme that is old and exhausted and yet, at the same time, new and inexhaustible.
